About the course

This is a course for learners that want Higher National level learning in data, visualisation and analytics but do not want to complete a full HNC or HND. We have linked the big data/ visualisation and data analytic higher national units to create a smaller qualification using HN Flex. HN Flex is individual higher national units that are certified by Pearson and will give count as credits towards relevant HNC and HND units in the future.

This course is part of our Lancashire & Cumbria institute of Technology (IoT) course offering.

Entry Requirements

Level 3 qualification in a computing related area.

Unit 1: Big data and visualisation (Higher Nationals)

Unit 2: Data analytics (Higher Nationals)

Assessment

Each unit will be assessed using project based assignments.
